A few matches into the MyRise and Showcase modes but man I am not feeling these controls. Every action seems to take one button press too many... all these weird "shift" inputs for basic things while holding the attack button is mapped to the Strike Exchange minigame, lots of weird design choices like that. I think I need an n64 palate cleanser and then I'll finally get into Wrestling Empire which I got on sale a while back. Yeah, my big problem with 2K24 is that it's not particularly fun and the combos & combo breakers are a pretty stupid design idea. |

| My current wrestling empire game has been a ride. After a mostly uneventful run in the AEW/ECW fed I signed with the Canadian one. They kept putting me in furniture smash matches which were bloodbaths. I injured Jim Neidhart and killed the booker Jim Cornette by throwing him over the top ropes through a table with metal stairs on top of it. Jim Neidhart then became the booker and Natalya Neidhart came after me for injuring him. She fell off a table and died in our match, that one wasn't my fault. Two injuries to myself and a contract dispute later and I was back in wrestling school with my stats all in the 50s. Now a few stops later I'm in WCW engaged in a blood feud with Scott Hall during which Kevin Nash has been paralyzed but is still forced to wrestle in tag matches against me and my good buddy Perry Saturn. It's always a fun time. |

| The ultimate edition of AEW Fight Forever is 20 bucks now on the Steam Sale. With all the content and a few mods it nearly resembles a basic game. |

I hate how I still haven't picked up Season Pass 3 and 4 on Playstation, but even at their discounted price now, it's $23 for me to get the content for the rest of the game. Ultimate Edition on PSN is also $65 instaed of $100 |
